Why the Conflict? When and Where?

The Russian Civil War was a conflict in which the Red Army successfully supported the new Bolshevik government  against Russians and anti-Bolsheviks. The Russian Civil War took place between 1917 and 1922. This war took place within the borders of the former Russian Empire, following the collapse of the Russian provisional government.Below you can find a maps of the capital of the Red Army and Moscow, and pictures of both armies.
